i cant believe it took me until my 30s to figure out the concept of putting little small pieces of a thing that belong together into a ziploc bag so they don't get all separated and lost and then years later i find a little widget and im like "i have no idea what the fuck this does" and i throw it away and then later i find the other piece and im like "well this is useless now i guess." it took me until my 30s to figure this out.
@nova same here. it seems so simple… and yet it did not occur to me until like two years ago.
@nova I do the same thing with my portable electronics and their accessories, except I use a mesh bag instead. Plastic bags tend to get pricked by sharp corners and, in the case of multimeters, the probes for said multimeters.
@nova i use binder accessories, that makes it easy to group small manuals with small gadgets
@Triplefox what are binder accessories
@nova plastic dividers, pencil pouches mostly. The dividers trap flat objects better
@Triplefox oh is it like a trapper keeper
@Triplefox or are you saying you put plastic dividers into ziploc bags? i don't understand
@nova ooh nice lifehack.
