Trans stuff, HRT, experiences and resources needed
Hey folks, I'm going to be gunning for HRT as soon as my provincial health insurance kicks in, but the wait lists are super long for gender specialists. It seems like my best bet is to try and find a doctor that will prescribe on informed consent while I wait for the specialist, or go in strong on a regular GP and slap down the trans standard of care guidelines established by WPATH.
While I hunt for doctors, I want to pull together some good resources on how HRT works and what to expect, but I want to spare myself running across a bunch of transphobic bullshit in the process.
Does anyone have any good resources for how it works and what to expect? Anecdotes are fine too!

my (functional) parents: “Today we reupholstered our couch as a side project in between laundry and cooking 3 large meals and 8 hour work days etc”
me: “Thinking of 3 emojis to use when I make “Good morning 💜🖤✨” posts was exhausting so I’m scaling it back to one emoji from now on”
hello I bought this cute yet slutty outfit off the internet and I love it, happy #finefemmefriday
